. While it may start around 1:00 PM, the peak hours are between 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM . Stalls usually begin to close at sundown (around 5:30 PM–6:00 PM). A smaller version, known as bhaya haat, sometimes occurs on Sunday mornings. Location: It is held on the banks of the Kopai River within the Sonajhuri Forest, approximately 3–5 km from Bolpur Station and the main Shantiniketan campus.
Entrance: There is no entry fee to visit the forest or the market.
